Adeptus Astartes by OEVRLORD Adeptus Astartes by OEVRLORD
This is something that I have been working on for the last four hours (it's 2AM at the moment).

This style of image traces back to my original style, before I ever even dared to play with colour. Back in high school, I used to do a lot of things like this. I did not go so well in my year 10 mathematics class, because I spent more time drawing than listening to my teacher. Her teaching skills were bollocks anyway, so what do you do?

On the left arm (his right), you might notice a small blotch around the wrist. That's actually part of a blueberry muffin; I couldn't get it off!

This image was illustrated using a standard 0.5mm mechanical pencil.

I know this is an old drawing bud (it's still awesome! :) ), but I was wondering what size paper this was done on? :D

very nice helm design =)

perhaps the powerfist could be bigger though ?
seeing that usually the power fist is usually twice the width of a normal power armor arm

Thank you very much. I understand what you mean. I thought it was a bit small as well. Next time I do one, I'll try make it bigger.

I want to do a battle scene, yes. I will wait until I can get some darker lead first, though. ;)

Thank you very much! I'd been waiting for your feedback on this one. I have another, similar one that I did today. I've been trying to upload it, but the internet's being a bugger, and keeps dropping out on me.

Oh, and thanks for the :+fav: as well.

It's got a lot of qualities that I look for in an image. It's a sketch but it's tidy. Perfect consistant shading. Love it mate!

also, i like the skull, i can not for the live of me draw skulls. Odd how i have done so many 40k pics without drawing one, i mean they are EVERYWHERE in 40k.

I know, right? Skulls are like the sprinkles of 40k. Nothing's complete unless it's got a heap of skulls scattered all over it. It's not a bad thing, though.

well i finished that pic we talked about, but i am at a freinds house so i won't upload it till tommorow. But before i did the pic, i took a page and just drew skulls on it. I can now draw them without a problem.

Ah, I've been drawing skulls since I was a little kid. I used to find 'em hard too. It was originally the cheekbones and the teeth I had trouble with. Teeth are still a bit iffy.

Looking forward to that image, mate!

dam man... he looks angry!
I really like the helm, and the bolt pistol. I think the legs are off, i think maybe the rioght one should be leaning out, not towards the other leg, but im just nit picking. Another great work!

Thanks man! I did not really put so much detail or effort into the legs, because I did not want to ruin it (a single detail has ruined my pictures before). I certainly hope he's angry, because he's probably looking at a heretic! :lmao:
