SORRY ABOUT THE FILE SIZE! It's as small as I could possibly get it without it looking like rubbish.

This is the first and only animation done with [link] and it didn't come out so badly. Obviously, there are a number of things that could be better *cough*water*cough*, but it's satisfacory.

This took about a day to model. There aren't any textures (except for on the heretic), so that was easy.

If you have issues playing it with your browser, try downloading it.
I think this requires Flash 7 or higher, so make sure you have it installed and updated.

I didn't do a loader because I can't remember how, and frankly I just don't care.

Also, thanks to :icontiwyll: for getting me to finally bother uploading it. I actually did this ages ago.

I guess that's possible. Space Marines are very heavy.

Despite the fact that heretic looks to small, and, as already mentioned somewhere, that he should bend his knees more, looks very good! Models are nice.
What program did you used?

Thanks!
I used Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2009 (although it's up to 2011 now).

You're welcome =)
Cool, I used to create some scenes in it, but nothing serious.

Me either. I used to study it, so I would get assignments, but now there's no point, so I just make silly stuff.

If you're going to land on something, a heretic is pretty good :D

BAM! Thats the proper way to land on a heretic! As a few of the other folks have said, bending his knees more would make for a not-so-static landing, and the armour is a bit too reflective, but I really like his "waving the rest of the squad over" motion :D

Cheers. That was what was to happen. He would run through the tunnel, and three more were going to come into view, following him.

I think the problem with his legs is that the timing is wrong. He starts to bend them before he hits the ground.

its awesome, but i think that he needs to bend his knees more, stumble slightly, and also i dont see ultramarines as having shiny/reflective armor, so making the armor matte would look better.
but for a days work, thats awesome man :)

Hmm... I'm terrible at commenting on model renderings in action...

It looks good. (that wasn't so hard, now was it?)

Animation's not perfect, but it can't be helped.

Well, it can but I don't care enough at all.

he should bend his knees way more when he hist the ground and maybe attempt to put a hand torwards the ground to not fall down.
I mean that armor is freaking heavy, even for a bluky space marine and it's weight sould definatley affect his landing, plus it makes the scene more dramatic
asdie that great work dude.

your right about having a more natural landing, but actually, space marine's armor while powered is exactly like a second skin so armor would not be a negative contributing factor for a marine, probably even a greater benefactor based off canon shmuck.
